READ BEFORE STRANDING YOURSELF
Reach Moab, 480 miles away, before your rig, morale, fuel, or food runs out. Each rig has different cargo limits and fuel consumption. The Power Wagon starts with more supplies but burns 1.8 times the base fuel and takes extra wear on tight trails. Choose a vehicle and spend your remaining cash on supplies.
Drive advances the trail and consumes fuel and food. Cautious driving takes longer but protects your rig. Reckless driving is fast, expensive, and very on-brand.
Camp restores morale and costs a day and food. Repair uses one spare part to restore 26% condition. Trading posts let you buy supplies at miles 120, 240, and 360.
At the trail fork, choose Axlebreaker Ridge or Bureaucrat Canyon. A BLM closure can block your selected trail: choose an official detour or an open connector, and pay the cost in days and supplies. River crossings and trail surprises need a decision. Every choice has consequences. Jeep solid axles get a terrain advantage; Toyota IFS gets a very comfortable roast.
